I’m doing this for myself and also creating a fundraiser for The Neuroscience Foundation to bring awareness to many injuries and fatalities that can happen due to the brain and nervous system, hoping to help research make a breakthrough to avoid the heartbreak me and my family have experienced.

John is participating in, not just one, but an amazing THREE fitness events this year – the Manchester Marathon in April, Braveheart’s Scotsathlon in July, and Weymouth IRONMAN in September!
John is raising money for the Neurosciences Foundation in memory of his gran, Janey, who he lost last August.
After losing my gran I decided to take on three fitness events that I knew she’d of loved to watch me do. It’s a way I’ve been dealing with grief in the most healthy way I can. As she was a charitable woman she’d be so happy to see this fundraiser.
Now that Manchester is done my eyes are set on the Scotsathlon in July! Smashed my target of £500 so far and so now pushing for £1000!
