Scholarships in stroke

In October 2020 Tenovus Scotland and the Neurosciences Foundation teamed up to support a Scholarship in the field of stroke.

Cristina Lumbreras was the successful candidate and she started her project in January 2021. She is being supervised by Dr Hilary Carswell at the University of Strathclyde. Cristina will be studying materials that have the potential to reduce the likelihood of getting a stroke.
